In accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 26, 2016, websites and mobile applications of the public sector must be accessible, accessibility that must be achieved in accordance with the UNE - EN 301 549:2019 standard, on accessibility requirements. This standard is based mainly on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in August 2018.
It is the will of the Fundació Museu Picasso de Barcelona to fully comply with web accessibility guidelines. European regulations require public sector bodies to comply with AA level, a level that our website currently complies with.
