Presentation Exhibition Chronicle of the exhibition Catalogue

Over a hundred and fifty works by French artist Raoul Dufy form this retrospective. The show includes representative works from his early production at the turn of the century, the inspiring years of his Fauve period and the last stage of his career.

This is the first Dufy retrospective to be held in France in over twenty-five years. The show reconsiders Dufy's trajectory from the early stages of his career around the year 1900 to the exciting period of his Fauve paintings and the 'black' works produced at the end of his career. Over one hundred and fifty works in all are displayed, including paintings, drawings and prints, but also ceramics, fabric and furniture designs.
