With Picasso’s suitcase, the aim is to find a different way of providing students with resources for understanding and working with art. This travelling project consists of three suitcases containing teaching materials based on three fundamental pillars: play, reflection and discovery. The aim is to generate multi-sensory and perceptive experiences that help students to connect with emotions while making children the protagonists and generators of their learning.

When designing the suitcase, universal design criteria were taken into account to promote the inclusion of children, reducing barriers to learning and the participation of all students. In this way, it is guaranteed that everyone can share the experience of working with Picasso outside the classroom.

The suitcase is organised into learning boxes in relation to three axes of content:

AXIS 1.

The journey. Discovering the life of Picasso: this suitcase contains biographical elements related to the collection of the Museu Picasso.

AXIS 2.

The inspiration of Las Meninas, the admiration for classical artists, such as Velázquez, Picasso's influence and reference.

AXIS 3.

Creation. Picasso's language: realism versus abstraction.
