Cubism and Music: a debate on the relationship

A collaboration with the Conservatori del Liceu

Thursday January 26th, 2017

Finissage of the exhibition, in both entities

Presentations based around the relation between cubism and music and a concert given by the students of the Conservatori del Liceu.

A research about the parallelisms, both biographic and historiographical, between pictorial cubism and music, with the following questions as a starting point: Why did pictorial cubism use so many musical motifs? Which composers were aesthetically or personally linked to cubism? If music is the art of time, what would be the cubist time?
