Seminar of restoration and preventive conservation. Pastel technique: specificities of its conservation and restoration

Conference aimed at professionals of conservation, with the aims of presenting the results of the restoration process of the work Portrait of the mother of the artist (Pablo Picasso, 1896, pastel on paper), an emblematic piece from the Collection of the museum, and of looking in-depth at the issue of preventive conservation of pastel.
With the collaboration of several specialists, the conference will deal with the conservation of the unfixed techniques such as pastel and charcoal and the systems of framing and packaging for their shipping.
