Picasso’s Sketchbooks: His Most Intimate Diary
Descripció (Vídeo o Àudio)
Paris Album, 1900
In 1970, in an extraordinary act of generosity, Pablo Picasso donated to the city of Barcelona 236 paintings, 681 drawings, 17 sketchbooks, 4 textbooks, 2 prints, 47 works by other artists, and a range of other objects that had been preserved by three generations of his family.
Among these seventeen sketchbooks—comprising a total of nine hundred drawings—stands the Paris Album presented here, part of this remarkable donation.
