The show presents the series of 156 prints made by Picasso between 24 October 1968 and 25 March 1972, published by Galerie Louise Leiris.
The 156 prints in this series, published shortly after they were produced by Parisia.Galerie Louise Leiris and now on display, reveal Picasso's unbounded spirit when it came to addressing eroticism through numerous characters embodying a seemingly idle, pleasant and happy world. The prints also include several allusions to old masters such as Rembrandt, Velázquez, Goya, Ingres, Delacroix, Manet and, above all, Degas.
