Magnelli, between cubism and futurism [Magnelli, entre el cubisme i el futurisme]

Alberto Magnelli (Florence 1888-Meudon 1971), linked to Italian Futurist circles, met Picasso in spring 1914 as part of Guillaume Apollinaire’s circle of friends. This contact would be decisive for the evolution of his art until 1918. At that time, the artist created unique paintings between Cubism and Futurism which make him a precursor to contemporary art.
