The Comparsa Visca Picasso is back! From 7 to 9pm

Within the framework of the Picasso Celebration, the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona has restored and recovered the Comparsa Visca Picasso! In 1981, on the occasion of the centenary of the artist's birth and commissioned by Barcelona City Council, scenographer Joan Josep Guillén created the dramaturgy of a contemporary entremés while designing a comparsa. The comparsa is a group of eight figures who stage prominent elements of Picasso's pictography and his connection with Barcelona.

Musicant Picasso: Putting Picasso to music: «That’s what Picasso sounds like!», from 8.00 to 10.00pm

Young talent from the Composition specialty of the Liceu Conservatory present their musical creations inspired by the works Tia Pepa (1896), Lola, the artist’s sister (1900), Woman with mantilla [Fatma] (1917) and Jacqueline (1957). It will be the opportunity to hear four chamber music formations live, created by the students of the Conservatory of the Liceu: live music, tailor-made, inspired by Picasso.
