«Ubú revisited». Music for an Exhibition

Young composers from the Conservatori del Liceu present new musical creations inspired by the exhibition «Ubú pintor. Alfred Jarry and the arts». Conceived especially for this occasion, the pieces are performed live and establish a dialogue with the works on display in the exhibition.

The concert will feature a narrator within the ensemble, who will recite fragments from Jarry’s text.

The instrumental groups include: a wind quintet (flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon) and a guitar duo.
